On July first, 2019 Joe Pavelski signed a three-year deal worth $21 million to go to the Dallas Stars from San Jose, this is because of a free agency because the Sharks did not sign him again. As Joe was there leading goal scorer, captain, and their top line winger this next season could be a rough patch for the Sharks without him. Now without Pavelski the sharks need a new captain and new alternate captains but who could they be, none other than logan Couture as the new captain and Joe Thorton, Tomas Hertl, Brent Burns, and Erik Karlsson as the alternate captains. Even with the new captains how are they going to play. Here’s the how, the leading goal scorer for the sharks the last two years has been Pavelski but in a close second is Tomas Hertl who is currently a second line player, but the right decision is getting him to go top line to get more playing which means more goals. Another thing to take into consideration is Joe Thorton, this is Thorton’s last year in the NHL and he still has not on a Stanley cup and as he is a great friend and teammate to all the players on the San Jose Sharks, I think this San Jose Sharks are going to put their best game foreword to win this Season for Jumbo Joe. Now the new line ups should look like this

First line:

Timo Meier                               Logan Couture                                 Kevin Labanc

Second line:

Evander Kane                         Tomas Hertl                                     Jonny Brodzinski

Third Line:

Marcus Sorenson                   Joe Thorton                                      Danil Yurtaikin

Fourth Line:

Lucas Radil                            Dylan Gambrell                                Melker Karlsson
