WARNING: THERE MAY BE SPOILERS

Aquaman is about a half-human, half-Atlantean man who goes through a dangerous quest in order to find the mythical Trident of Atlanta in order to save his people. The whole adventure began when Mera, princess of Atlantis, seeks help from Aquaman when his younger-half brother from Atlanta plans to take over all of the seven kingdoms of the ocean. In order to do all of this he has to face many hardships, sea monsters, & with lots of help he manages to be the ruler of all ocean kingdoms and sea creatures.

The movie got a total rating of 7.5/10 in IMDb, 64% tomatoes, & 55 on Metacritic. Throughout the movie I was hoping for the movie to have more than just one plot so that it could have more purpose to it & so it could make it more interesting. In the end, the moment that I was waiting for never came, so it was the only thing that left me disappointed. Although I did enjoy all of the action, vibrant colors, & intense fighting senes that leave you on the edge of your seat.

All in all, I would give this movie a 7.5/10 because I felt as if it could’ve shown more of a theme and a lesson that could’ve made the movie a tad bit more enjoyable. I also believe that there will be a sequel to Aquaman in the futre; I would recommend this movie if you’d enjoy a make-believe, action pact experience!
