The paw press game review

Entry #4, Ticket to ride

By: Alden McGrath

Ticket to ride is an amazing family board game for 2-5 players (but I suggest 3-5, just for the sake of it) almost all ages (keep small pieces away from little kids). If you can guess Ticket to Ride is a game about trains (it’s kind of hard to guess but you know) where you are trying to cover the board with as much track as possible and get more points than your opponents and win without mercy, or you can have fun. Another way to gain points is to complete routes, like if you travel from New York to Seattle (we love Seattle) you would use the train car cards to pay for tracks from Seattle to New York but depending how long the game has been going on, you may have to go the long way around.

Ticket to ride got a straight 90 points which is almost as high as Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. Ticket to Ride was made in 2004 by Alan R. Moon and has the following awards; Diana Jones Award, Meeples’ Choice Award, Origins Award for Board Game or Expansion of the Year, Spiel des Jahres, and the International Gamers Award: Multi-player Category. It is a German style game for family and friends, and any time of the day. It is set in the U.S.A. but there are expansions/variants that are set in places like Europe and Africa. If you don’t like the idea of going head-to-head with your friends/family, then you can play as a team of two-on-two (I came up with this idea, but somebody else probably also has as well) where you just work together.

I hoped you liked my review and talk to Ms. Boswell if you have any ideas. see you next time! Bye!
